Chemical Peels Adelaide

Our clinic offers 3 different medical degrees peels:

Skin Reborn Peel:

Designed to gently resurface the upper layers of the skin, our Skin Reborn Peel targets the skin cells that hold surface pigmentation, and often are the ones responsible for fine lines and unevenness. With it’s strong ability to promote collagen growth in the lower layers of the skin, this glycolic peel is used to treat mild sun damage and loss of elasticity for our clients.

Deep Rejuvenate Peel:

The original skin rejuvenation peel that has been around for the longest. This peel is mostly suited to dry mature skin that has moderate to sever sun damage with pigmentation, mild textural irregularities and fine lines. Our Deep Rejuvenate Peel is designed to resurface the upper layers of the skin, all while promoting collagen growth in the lower layers of the skin.

ACNE PEEL:

Our Acne Peel are specially formulated for clients who suffer with oily/acne conditions on their skin. Designed to deeply penetrate the skin to remove congested sebum and dead skin cells, this peel works to rid acne, acne scarring and oil congestion. With improvements to congestion and oil flow, our clients are left with a new era of skin that they have never experienced before.

Less Common & More Serious Risks:

  • Infection: Bacterial, fungal, or viral (herpes reactivation/cold sores).

Directly following treatment, clients can expect to see redness and minor skin-flushing. Varying downtime is required depending on the strength of the peel. If you are receiving a stronger peel, more downtime may be necessary. For example, with strong peels, you may experience tingling, tightness, dryness and higher body temperatures 24-48 hours post-treatment. You may also find that your skin will start to peel 3-5 days post-treatment, however not all clients will experience this.

As no two individuals are the same, the time it takes for people to see the visible result will vary from person to person. Some clients will see results from their treatment 3-5 days post-treatment. Other clients will see results up to 3 weeks post-treatment once new skin has regenerated.

As a general rule of thumb, we advise clients to get a peel every 4 -6 weeks. However if clients are suffering from acne symptoms initially, we recommend to get a peel treatment every 4 weeks until the desired outcome is achieved.

Warning:

Individual results may vary. All cosmetic procedures carry risks which need to be discussed with a cosmetic nurse. It is always recommended to also seek a second opinion from a qualified health practitioner.
